Tired of ever-shifting algorithms and the time suck of constant content creation for social media (that nobody sees after a few days)?

Frustrated by lots of website visitors but low sales?

Exhausted by constantly having to keep up with marketing trends and new platforms?

It's time to stop spending all your time on marketing instead of doing the thing that God actually put on your heart. The solution is email marketing...and I want to teach you how to do it well, from a uniquely Catholic perspective.

Watch the replay of this live 5-day workshop on all things Catholic email marketing!

As a Catholic marketer, if there was one strategy I encourage every Catholic business and ministry to embrace in 2024, it's email marketing.

Why? Because email

  • Converts better than social media

  • Takes the least amount of time to produce

  • Works for just about every industry

  • No algorithms 🙌

But I don't just want you to embrace email marketing - I want you to commit to emailing your audience regularly and consistently.

Here's why ⬇️

  • You want to stay top of mind without being overwhelming. (Once a week has been the sweet spot for myself and my clients.)

  • Your audience actually wants you to email them. One study showed that 61% of those studied wanted to hear from companies they subscribed to at least once a week.

  • Your audience comes to expect your newsletter, and that consistency helps to skyrocket your open rates, even on sales emails.

When you do it right, it just plain works. I'd love to teach you how to send a regular, consistent email newsletter well in my workshop, Writing Emails that Convert!

And I know what you're thinking: "But I don't want to bother my audience with that many emails!!! I hate how many emails I get - I don't want to annoy them."

Can I share something with you? I've been sending a weekly newsletter for several years now. It's where I get the majority of my clients.

And I can't tell you the number of clients I've met with who have uttered that exact same sentence to me and then immediately followed it up with, "But I love your newsletter and read it every week!"

Exactly.

People don't like unsolicited, spammy emails. They DO like emails that help them, and that's exactly what I'm going to teach you how to create.

"Focus on my email list" one of your 2024 goals?

This is the workshop for you. Let's get you an email marketing strategy that feels authentically you, makes people fall in love with what you do, and converts financially and spiritually.

Another big hold-up I hear? "I just don't have time to create a long newsletter."

So here's what I'm going to tell you: First, you get to decide on the length. I know people who write novels every week and others who write a few sentences. And once you get the hang of it, your weekly newsletter should not take you more than an hour, and possibly even less.

And it doesn't even need to be all at once. I've written email newsletters while pushing a double stroller and dictated them while cooking dinner!

I'm going to teach you how to schedule your email content creation around your life instead of being a slave to algorithms, because frankly, you are doing WAY too important work from God to spend hours on marketing.

Email Marketing

for Catholic businesses + ministries

n

Email marketing is a particularly great fit for Catholic businesses and ministries.

Why? Because email marketing is focused on serving people, and I'll bet that's exactly why you answered this call from God in the first place.

The most successful email marketing strategies are the ones that emphasize trust, value, and service - and I already know you're really good at that. And as a bonus? Having a service-first mentality is actually what will sell.

I'll teach you how to have an email newsletter that glorifies Him AND helps you to grow the call He's placed on your heart.

But why is starting a regular email newsletter imperative RIGHT NOW?

Relationships are going to be crucial for business in 2024 (with ALL of your audience, not just the 10% Instagram actually shows your posts to). Now is the perfect time to build them through regular content ahead of the sales season.

Literally everyone (even social media experts) is saying to a focus on email...which means email marketing is about to get "trendy." Inboxes will become flooded as everyone leans into this strategy, so start now before the competition makes it hard to stand out!

But most time sensitive, there are new deliverability requirements from Google and Yahoo getting implemented beginning February 1. A big portion is keeping your spam rates low. So we want to implement this now - like literally next week - to minimize spam complaints.

(This will be helpful for anyone, but ESPECIALLY if you already have a list but haven't been emailing them regularly.)

So what are you going to teach me?

We don't want to email just for the sake of emailing. We want to email well...and that's what this workshop will teach you:

2.png

How to email your subscribers every week without annoying them (and how to introduce it if you haven't emailed them in a while!)

3.png

How to get people on your list in the first place

1.png

How to come up with content and provide value in your newsletter without giving away everything + actually making money

4.png

How to do all of this without it taking up all of your time and the low cost + low tech systems to use to make it actually happen

You'll walk away knowing how to effectively use a weekly email newsletter and be ready to send your brand new email newsletter, whether it's your first ever or your first effective one!

Want to see the full agenda? Here's what the training covers:

  • Being Social on Social
Creating community online has never been easier thanks to social media. Churches can utilize social media to foster their in-person communities digitally...but do you know how? In this workshop, we'll go over the basics of social media and how to create a dynamic social media presence for your parish that not only fosters your congregation's connection, but also works to expand your reach as an evangelization tool in your local area.
  • Branding Basics
Does reading the church bulletin seem like a font selection guide? Can parishioners identify when a mailing is from you? Branding covers so much more than your visual identity - it also aids how people feel when they think about your church. In this workshop, we'll dive into how to select fonts and colors that represent your church, creating a brand guide (and how to have it implemented, even among volunteers), and honing in on your church's unique personality.
  • Making an Entrance: Identifying Entrypoints
We often wish we could reach our less active parishioners - but when we do, we fail to capitalize on the moment! Key moments for conversion like CAPE (Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Easter) and sacraments are often overlooked from a communications standpoint, but there are so many things you can do to capitalize on these pivotal moments. In this workshop, we'll work to identify the key entrypoints for your parish and brainstorm communications methods to bring them back to church.
  • Beyond Envelopes: Welcoming New Parishioners
What's the first thing new parishioners get when they register at your parish? A nice big stack of envelopes? Because nothing says welcome like give us money! In this workshop, we'll go over some welcome strategies you can put in place to get parishioners from passive registrants to active participants. Ideas discussed include recruitment strategies, registration letters and swag, and digital follow-up strategies.

Plus a healthy dose of examples of how Jesus would do email marketing, worksheets and resources to help you put this practically into place, AND challenges to motivate you!

Okay, but why you?

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a Catholic marketer who specializes in helping Catholic businesses and ministries market like Jesus would - and I LOVE email marketing.

I'm also the queen of juggling things - I started out my career in parish work where I wore 519 hats, and now, I run a full-service marketing agency while also being a stay at home mom to a three year old and a 20 month old.

And I've consistently sent an email newsletter just about every week for the past few years (aside from when my son was in the NICU, but I feel like I get a pass for that one).

CEO AND FOUNDER, GLORIAM MARKETING

Emily Ricci

I'm super passionate about the growth that my Catholic business and ministry clients have gotten with consistent email marketing, which is why I'm pumped to teach you my not-so-glamorous-or-techy-but-super-effective-way to actually prioritize doing a weekly newsletter even if you're balancing a lot.

That's why I priced this super affordably at just $29, because I truly want everyone to be able to utilize this incredible marketing platform well no matter your budget.

Here's what people have said about my own newsletter:

“Emily’s weekly Monday email starts my week with the right approach- helping me share Christ’s love through my business interactions- rather than just focusing on my never ending to-do list.”

“Emily is so real and down-to-Earth and HELPFUL! She somehow always predicts my needs. It's like having a marketing guru for a best friend.”

“I can’t believe that Emily gives away the information and advice in her weekly emails for free! Hands-down, it’s the most valuable email newsletter I receive.”

And it's not just me - I've seen email marketing work for alllll types of clients.

This system works

...even if you've tried email marketing in the past and it just never seemed to work.

...even if you're a product-based business and don't feel like you "provide value."

...even if you have very little time for marketing.

...even if you don't have a big list or any list at all.

Listen, I know you're wary of people telling you that THIS PLATFORM is the key to all your success. If you would just focus on Pinterest, or SEO, or YouTube, or TikTok, or cold calling, then everything would change in your business. 🙄

So I'm going to shoot really straight with you - email marketing is not a strategy that's going to make you go viral. It's probably not going to make you thousands of dollars overnight right away. And it will take some work to make it work well for you.

But, of all the content strategies out there that I've seen and tried personally and for clients, email takes the least amount of time with the biggest return on investment for the time spent and has the most universality across industries.

My #1 goal is to get you back to the work God actually called you to, faster. The best way I can advise you to do that is through email marketing - and I'd love to teach you how!

email marketing

I don’t say “everyone should do this” a lot. (Unless it’s going to Mass. 😉)

But if there is one strategy that I’ve seen work across industries, it’s email marketing.

People buy from people they trust...but they can't trust you if your posts are buried on Facebook and you're on page 3 of Etsy searches. Email is how you get them to trust you. It's a long game, but that's why it works - and YOU get to call all the shots, not some algorithm.

So are you ready for a marketing strategy you'll actually enjoy doing? Watch the replays from this incredible workshop!

It's time to prioritize
